Food & Beverage Manager - (ULUM - Moab, Grand Canyon)
This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors close to some of the country’s most popular national parks. The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for all onsite food & beverage operations including, but not limited to, restaurant, bar, micro-market, and specialty coffee. The F&B Manager will forecast, plan, and manage all F&B orders, supervise team members, and track and oversee departmental finances. The goals of the Food & Beverage Manager are to maximize sales and revenue, drive guest satisfaction, and create high levels of employee engagement. The Food and Beverage Manager may serve as a Manager on Duty for the property and should be willing to learn and support all aspects of overall hospitality operation.

Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of Food & Beverage Management experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, preferably in hotels or hospitality
Previous culinary experience preferred
Knowledge of federal food safety standards and current Food Safety Manager certification required
Track record of managing profitability through proper staffing, effective control of food, beverage, and labor costs and achieving budgeted targets
Able to consistently interact with a friendly, enthusiastic, positive attitude with guests and team members
Willingness to assist in all roles to support the operation and supporting property General Manager– Ex: working the line, processing guest transactions, work as MOD for property

Camp Facility Manager - (ULUM - Moab)
Under Canvas Facility Managers take pride in ensuring that the glamping locations are operational, safe, functional, and well-maintained so that guests can fully utilize and enjoy all of the amenities. Situated just minutes away from some of the country’s most popular national parks, our locations range in size from 40-100 glamping tents, many of which have their own showers, toilets, and wood burning stoves. The sites can also include a laundry facility, restaurant, communal bathhouses, storage areas, well houses, wood shed, and team member housing (either on or off site). This position reports directly to the General Manager and partners with the Regional Facilities Manager for additional departmental support. The Facilities Manager is the on-site maintenance expert, overseeing, training, and performing maintenance tasks with the Facilities Team.

As a Facilities Technician, you work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to ensure our glamping location is well-maintained, safe, and operational for our team members and guests. You play an important role in our success by performing daily maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of our tents, amenities, equipment, and property. Depending on the camp location, the nature of work performed will vary from basic upkeep (Facilities Technician 2) to more technical functions such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (Facilities Technician 1). This is a seasonal, hourly position that includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

Food and Beverage Attendant
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you are the main point of contact for our guest during their dining experience. Reporting to a Laundry Supervisor, you will work with a team of peers to clean and restock linens for a camp location. Line Cook

As a Line Cook with Under Canvas, you are responsible for preparing and cooking all menu items; ensuring the ingredients are fresh, that the work area is clean, and that the necessary equipment is readily available. This is a seasonal, hourly position that includes free housing! This position is ideal if you love working outdoors for long periods of time.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using a smoker, oven, grill, flat top, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment according to restaurants standardized recipes.
Stocks and maintains enough levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.• Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, smoker, fryers, burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
Follows food safety standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations as well as assisting others with closing the kitchen.
WHAT IT TAKES
High School Diploma/GED and minimum two years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
Be willing and able to help in any other restaurant capacity including; taking orders, expediting food, serving food, and washing dishes.

Shuttle Driver
As a Shuttle Driver for Under Canvas, your role is to transport team members to and from their housing to the camp location and various locations as needed. The Shuttle Driver position will also be trained in operational tasks and assist with on property duties as needed. In this role, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles and provide safe and comfortable scheduled transportation for team members. The schedule for this position will vary from week to week depending on business needs. This is a seasonal, hourly position, and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.
