Laundry Attendant
Attendant Responsibilities:
Guest Room Attendant-cleaning guest rooms and suites to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service. Reports maintenance deficiencies, handles guests’ requests, and ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms and suites.
Laundry Attendant -supports The Grand Hotel by working in all phases of the main laundry operation and adheres to a strict wash schedule to meet the hotel's production needs.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of rooms and hotel layout on property
Previous experience in a housekeeping or custodial position

Intermediate Cook
Kitchen Supervisor
Responsibilities & Duties:
Intermediate Cook–mid-skill level position responsible for preparing meals and following establishment recipes to include preparing ingredients, adhering to restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff, and deliver quality food in a fast-paced environment. Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer.
Kitchen Supervisor–Assist in coordination and efficient kitchen operation, with emphasis on food ordering, kitchen production, sanitation,and training. In addition, this position supports in food preparation, cooking, storing, labeling, checking food temperatures, organizing coolers, placing/receiving orders, prep lists, recipes, and specs.

Restaurant Manager
Responsibilities & Duties:
Bartender-Maintain the bar area, serve restaurant, and bar patrons at the bar and fill drink orders for the dining room. Provide high-level customer service while maintaining control of the bar, serve drinks and manage the cash, credit, and room charge transactions.
Dining Room Host-Greet the dining room guests and seat them in an expedient fashion while maintaining a proper seating flow in the seating sections.
Restaurant Manager-responsible for floor supervision and oversight of the daily dining and beverage outlet operations. This includes all aspects of guest service, employee relationships, inventories, and other administration.

We’re Hiring:
Retail Associate
Responsibilities & Duties:
Provides superior customer service and uses good communication skills.
Handles the sale of retail purchases in the gift shop.
Performs cashiering duties properly, recording the sales in the register accurately and following correct accounting procedures.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Grand Canyon National Park and surrounding areas.
Previous retail and/or experience operating a POS/cash register, handling and/or counting cash accurately and maintaining proper sales records and reports.
Lead Maintenance
Join The Grand Hotel team! The Lead Facilities Maintenance Engineer is an advanced skill level position responsible for performing general maintenance and repair activities associated with the operation Grand Hotel facilities.
Responsibilities & Duties
Perform maintenance in employee housing, daily pool maintenance, and hotel general maintenance.
Oversee maintenance requests, ensuring timely completion, thoroughness,and cost effectiveness.
Ensure that staff is adhering policies and procedures regarding worker safety, risk management, environmental policies, HAZMAT, HAZCOM, confined space, lockout/tagout and vehicle operation.
Basic carpentry, Carpet cleaning, painting, inspections and second level maintenancerepairs related to preventative maintenance program.
Qualifications
Minimum three-year’s experience in general building maintenance, or in trades such as electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, etc.
Must possess a valid/clear Arizona Driver’s License
Must acquire CPO Certification within 30 days of employment.
Must have a high ability to communicate with all guests, internal and external, professionally.
Prefer knowledge of the hospitality industry as it relates to Engineering functions.

The Grand Hotel at the Grand Canyon resembles a sprawling three-story chalet with the perfect blend of rustic and modern design. The Grand Hotel is the only 3-diamond hotel in the region and is in Tusayan, AZ, just outside the entrance to the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. Our luxurious hotel offers an indoor heated swimming pool and spa and fitness center. The hotel is open year-round with a peak season between April and October. Xanterra operates the 121 room hotel, two dining facilities, and a retail shop. The year-round staff consists of approximately 90 employees during peak season. Employee Meals & Housing:Most new employees will reside in dormitory-style housing sharing a room with another employee. The dorm rent is $0.63 per hour worked and is deducted from the employee's paycheck. The meal plan is $9 per day for 3 meals. (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and tickets are also offered for individual meals: breakfast $5.00, lunch $6.00, and dinner $7.00Grand Canyon has basic services available such as shopping, banking, post office, medical clinic, church services and a community library.
