Help us build an intentional community to support teens in a fun, creative, and experiential program at Pioneer Village. We live in platform tents, cook over campfires twice a day, and go on trips hiking or canoeing each session.

We're looking for team players who are able to think critically and work well in groups. Responsibilities include: Overseeing meal times, managing campers' general health and well-being (i.e. making sure they are brushing their teeth, wearing clean clothes, and seeing the nurse when necessary), and running daily activities. Counselors have the freedom to choose what activities they offer every day! You can choose from classic camp activities like swimming, boating, sports, and arts and crafts, or get creative and offer activities of your own design.

We also go on multi-day hike and canoe trips off-site.

Qualifications:

• 21+ years old, experience with children, comfortable in the outdoors, clean background check.

Additional Information About Pioneer Village

Benefits: Laundry, housing, and all meals are included! We will train you to be an American Red Cross lifeguard, which is a 2-year cert that can be used anywhere in the US after camp as well. We’re willing to help you meet internship requirements!
