Rigging rafts and assisting customers at the store in the morning. In the afternoon, responsibilities range from rental gear pick up/cleaning to aiding in various store/property maintenance tasks. No experience necessary. Must possess valid driver’s license, must be able to lift 50 lbs, must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Job duties include: aiding customers signing up for shuttles/checking in for raft rentals, assisting customers in making purchases in the store, maintaining a clean store environment, occasionally aiding the rental raft crew, barista, and/or food truck staff. 

Qualifications: No experience necessary.

Duration: May-November. Flexible days and hours.

Description: Employees will meet at the store in the morning and receive a client vehicle to be moved to a designated take out point.
After driving the client's vehicle to the correct location, employees will ride back in our bus. We run 2 shuttles per day during peak season (end of May - July). Drivers are expected to travel in a caravan and be respectful of clients property.

Pay: Minam to Boggan's, Troy, Mud Creek or Powwatka $60-per trip. Minam to Heller Bar $80-per trip  

Requirements: Must possess valid driver’s license and provide a copy of driving record (Can get from dmv2u).

Prep of food items prior to food service. Prepare and cook our menu to order on the truck. Provide exceptional customer service at all times. Educate customers about our menu items. Maintain a clean work environment and keep utensils/condiments/napkins etc. well stocked. We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for food. This position comes with room for an expanded role beyond just cooking our menu. If you come with a vision and the experience and skill to back it up we are happy to hear from you.

Qualifications: Must have food service experience.

The Minam Store is a family run business located at the confluence of the Wallowa and Minam Rivers. Tucked away in the northeast corner of Oregon, Minam provides a gateway to one of the Pacific Northwest's best kept secrets. The Minam and Wallowa Rivers originate high in Wallowa Mountains and the Eagle Cap Wilderness and reach the Grande Ronde River before joining the Snake River which carves out North America's deepest river gorge - Hells Canyon. Hells Canyon is topped by He Devil on the east rim (9393') and Hat Point on the west rim (6982') with a river elevation close to 1000', making it deeper than even the Grand Canyon. In addition to the Wallowas, Minam is also close to the Blue Mountains and the Elkhorns providing large swaths of wilderness to explore. 

Employees can apply for onsite housing with limited dorm style rooms, tent and trailer space available. Employees staying onsite will be provided access to bathrooms with shower facilities. Employees will be provided meal discounts and discounts on gear in the store.
