Counselors:

 

The core of the camp staff. Candidates should be caring, enthusiastic and have a genuine concern for children. Counselors supervise, lead, guide and live with a group of 3-10 children. They also teach activities (see list below). These positions require maturity, creativity and a strong commitment to children. Candidates must be at least age 18 and have graduated from high school before January 1, 2023.

We need counselors who can instruct one or more of the following activities: Archery, Basketball, Baseball, Canoeing, Ceramics & Pottery, Dance (jazz & hip-hop), Fencing, Fiber Arts, Football, Golf, High Ropes Course, Jewelry, Kayaking, Lacrosse, Low Ropes Course, Nature/Environmental Ed., Outdoor Living Skills, Paddleboarding, Photography (Darkroom), Rock Climbing, Sailing, Soccer, Stained Glass, Swimming, Tennis, Theater-Directing, Theater-Pianist, Theater-Technical, Ukulele, Ultimate Frisbee, Visual Art (2-D), Visual Art (3-D), Volleyball, Wakeboarding, Waterskiing, Windsurfing, Woodworking and Yoga.

Wilderness Trip Leader

 

Plan, organize, and lead a variety of two day and one night wilderness camping trips in Maine and New Hampshire. Activities include hiking, canoeing, swimming and sea kayaking. Help campers gain an appreciation for the outdoors and gain confidence by having new experiences.

Seeking candidates with one of the following: previous experience leading wilderness trips; participation in a university outing club; student experience with NOLS, Outward Bound or a similar organization. Wilderness First Aid and Lifeguarding certifications are required. We can arrange for you to get these certifications, if you do not already have them. Must be age 21 or older and have a clean driving record.

Cook

 

Responsible for helping to prepare, cook and serve meals for 300+, supervising prep assistants, and monitoring safety and cleanliness. Previous cooking experience required. Seeking candidates who are looking for a positive work environment and who know camp food is more than just chicken nuggets.

Seasonal position, 40 – 45 hours per week, 5 days per week, June 12 – August 25, 2023. Competitive pay, room and board are provided, but optional. Apply online via our food service application.

General Information
Kingsley Pines is a coed, noncompetitive, overnight camp for ages 8-16 located on Panther Lake in Raymond, Maine. The camp season begins June 16, 2023. It consists of one week of staff orientation, seven weeks of children’s camp, and two weeks of family camp. The employment period varies between eight and ten weeks, ending either August 12 or August 25. Most jobs are residential and provide room and board.

Benefits include:

Salary of $3,000 and up for the summer, plus room and board and assistance with travel and certification costs.
