Hiring:
All Sports Coach
This fun and creative role invites you to develop your leadership and communication skills for coaching land/water-based sports to groups of around 20 children or teens. Our All Sports Coaches will learn how to collaborate with people from all over the world; build life skills in campers; and exercise great judgment regarding safety – all the while engaging with and entertaining kids through the joy of playing sports! This position is perfect for aspiring PE teachers, Sports Graduates, and Sports Coaches. We simply require a positive attitude, great adaptability, and the desire to put smiles on the faces of staff and kids!

how to adapt to new situations
how to communicate thoughts and ideas to people of all ages and backgrounds
how to accept supervision and work well with others
how to lead athletic activities
how to sell your experience to future employers

previous experience coaching, teaching or leading activities - and the passion for getting better at it

must be comfortable swimming in open lake water and riding a mountain bike

Youth Leadership Counselor
This inspirational role invites you to develop your initiative and collaboration skills for leading groups of about 20 children or teens in their daily activities. You'll learn how to partner with people from all over the world; build life skills in young people; and exercise great judgment regarding safety – plus how to facilitate recreational sessions in watersports, rock climbing, or mountain biking! This position requires an outgoing personality, versatility, and the simple enjoyment of working with kids!
What you’ll learn:

Perfect for anyone who enjoys being on two wheels, this role is all about safety, fun, and group discovery. Learn facilitation, presentation and technical maintenance while taking on this super-fun role!
Photographer/Social Media
Boost your marketing resume with a spot on the Media team at our camp. You’ll learn how to create and share content, build a brand, and share information with campers, parents and staff - all while experiencing the joys of sports and the outdoors! With an eye for art, meaningful moments, and the best candid shots, you’ll be building your portfolio by capturing and sharing the best moments on camp!
Recreation
If you’re super-outgoing and want to build your events coordination skills, this is the role for you. You’ll be directing and emcee-ing recreation events for 400 people, so you’ll need to be comfortable, classy and comedic with a mic in your hand!

Included in your employment:

Requirements:
At least 20 years old by June 2020
Available at least from June 11th through August 22nd, 2020
Compensation:
If you’re already eligible to work in the US, the pay is $275 per week plus housing and all meals.
If you’re an international staff member applying through a visa-sponsor agency the pocket money is determined by your chosen agency.
Longer-Term Opportunities:
From August 23rd onwards, we become Trout Lake Retreats and Conference Center. We host high-end weddings & events, plus group retreats for schools, churches, sports teams & private companies. Eligible staff would have opportunities to work through November, depending on our events schedule.
