Responsible for coordinating entire station and communication with front and back of the house staff to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations.  Responsible for properly taking and ringing in food and beverage orders, serving food and beverage, handling payment, and seeing to the needs of guests.  To provide the highest quality of service to guests in accordance with company policies and objectives, to strive towards guest satisfaction, positive employee relations and profitability.  

We have all different types of server positions available to accommodate both the Resort and Priest Lake Golf Course for all three menus: Breakfast, Casual (Lunch) and Fine Dine.  We have outdoor and indoor sections for both facilities.

 

Bartender

Experience required. 

Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the bar.  Responsible for properly taking drink orders from guests, and producing drinks for guests and servers in accordance with company recipe specifications and standards.  Mix and serve drinks to guests, directly or through servers.  Full service over the bar top.  Learn and consistently craft a unique set of cocktails, while multi-tasking and staying upbeat and positive.  Communicates with front and back-of-the-house staff to provide an experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations.  Provides the highest quality of service to guests in accordance with company policies and objectives, to strive towards guest satisfaction, positive employee relations, and profitability.  Wash and sterilize glassware, prepare and replenish drink garnishes.

This job is crucial to the Restaurant & Bar operation! You are the guests’ first impression of the outdoor seating and dining room.  Must be well dressed, able to multi task and work well under pressure.

Functions as the communications link between and among the various food production areas in the kitchen to ensure the coordination and smooth flow of quality products being produced and assembled so servers may deliver meal orders to dining room guests in a timely manner.  Ensures quality and proper presentation of food with the appropriate accompaniments.  Kitchens expedite line is always stocked, neat, clean and safe.  To provide the highest quality of service to guests in accordance with company policies and objectives, to strive toward guest satisfaction, positive employee relations, and profitability.  Hot food hot and cold food cold.

Our kitchen is located just steps from the beautiful shores of priest lake, where jumping in on breaks is not mandatory, but absolutely encouraged! Pantry/Prep Cook

Responsible for making salads, milkshakes, all desserts. Must have good organization skills and pay great attention to detail. Food Prep accountable for preparation of cold food items for kitchen. Being able to multi-task a must. Position is flexible throughout the kitchen.

 

Dishwasher

Wash and store dishes and kitchen utensils, and to help maintain kitchen and dishroom cleanliness in accordance with the restaurants’ and health department standards, complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards. As needed, responsible for the preparation of batch recipes and production of bulk items while following the established food production programs, recipes, portions, and procedures. Responsible for appropriate use of restaurant supplies and equipment to minimize loss and waste. To provide the highest quality of service and product to guests in accordance with company policies and objectives, to strive towards guest satisfaction, positive employee relations, and profitability.


 

Front Desk

You are the first impression of the business! We have a wonderful clientele that has been coming to Hill’s Resort for generations and generations, and you play a critical role in setting the tone for the duration of their stay.  We are also open to the public and welcome a diverse range of guests including those visiting for the day, those residing seasonally and year round.  We are located next to a major campground and frequent trails, get ready to welcome those who also share the love of family and outdoors! The Front Desk position is the ultimate multi-tasker. Responsible for assisting guests as they check in and out of resort, along with handling guest questions, and concerns, phones and making reservations. Excellent communication and computer skills are required, with a high emphasis on professionalism and phone etiquette.


 

Gift Shop Clerk

Responsible for helping guests, answering questions and product knowledge.  Must have knowledge of cash register and strong communication skills.

Responsible for cleaning rooms and cottages to set standard.  Night laundry available.  Job requires extensive walking, bending and lifting.

Like to be outside all day? Maybe get a little dirt on your shirt? This is the job for you! Responsible for up keep of entire resort from lawns to plumbing to marina fixing.


 

Pro Shop Attendant

This position will require working face to face with the public in a courteous manner, answering phone calls, making tee time reservations, meticulously organizing merchandise, staging golf carts, driving range duties, assisting with golf events.  Also taking food and beverage orders, serving customers, mixing drinks, cleaning/light bar maintenance, and stocking coolers and other food and beverage tasks from the manager. 


 

Groundskeeper


 

General maintenance and upkeep of the golf course.  Must be able to work early hours.  Outside crew starts as early at 5 am.

Hill’s Resort is wholly and truly a family business.  Established in 1946 by George Hill, still owned and operated by the family today and we are stoked to be gearing up to celebrate our 76th year of business! Hill’s Resort offers up a distinctive blend of pristine location, family atmosphere, home, comfort, and luxury accommodations. Activities include an18-hole golf course, numerous hiking opportunities, swimming, biking trails, boating and many other family and individual experiences.  

Our primary season runs May - October.
