Responsibilities:
Clean assigned guest accommodations to Company standards including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, amenities, removing dirty linens, cleaning outside guest rooms, in hallways and surrounding grounds.
Control all keys, master and guest room keys, and maintain security of guest rooms, both vacant and occupied.
Strictly follow standards in cleaning stay over rooms in dealing with guest’s property.
Follow standard procedures for discrepancies, chemical/cleaning agent usage, and lost and found procedures
Qualifications:
Knowledge of rooms and hotel layout on property
Ability to complete assigned tasks without close supervision
Previous experience in a housekeeping or custodial position
Ability to communicate with guests and supervisors

Responsibilities & Duties:
Kitchen Crew-performing various duties and responsibilities within the back of house (Expeditor, Dishwasher, and Entry Level Cook IV). Removing left over food from dishes bussed from tables before sending to the dishwasher, stocking clean dishes, proper cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishes, pots/pans, utensils, and glassware, set up and maintain the buffets to standards and specifications by continually stocking and cleaning the buffets, while meeting all deadlines for setup and breakdown.
Server-A part-time year-round position responsible for providing expedient, courteous cocktail and food service to lounge or bar guests at Spenser's Pub.
Cashier-greets and acknowledges the guest coming and going, interacts with guests and employees in a professional manner; is knowledgeable of buffet, wine/beer menu items, displays and practices being a team player. Adheres to cash handling practices and policies.
Retail Positions
Help guests take home grand Canyon Railway & Hotel memories! Are you enthusiastic about home-made fudge, specialty coffee, and creating legendary hospitality?
We are looking for a Retail Supervisor for our Coffee and Fudge shop. This position is a full-time year-round position in Williams, AZ. The Coffee and Fudge Retail Supervisor provide efficient check-out service to Grand Canyon Railway Retail guests while maintaining superior guest service standards. Assist the Retail Manager in the operation of the retail store coffee and fudge shop and will help train staff to superior standards.

Retail Supervisor –Coffee Fudge Shop
Responsibilities & Duties
Ensure all assigned duties are completed in properly and in a timely manner for shift to include other team members duties are being completed.
Assist store management in the training of new Coffee and Fudge Shop clerks.
Highly engaged with customers in counter and fudge sales.
Learn confectioner's secrets for creating home-made style fudge, specialty coffees and other treats from our own special recipes
Processes shop inventory orders and maintains adequate product. Including month end and service product inventory.
Qualifications
Previous Retail Working Lead experience in a Xanterra Company unit preferred.
Have Managers Food Safety certification orhave the ability to obtain through company training.
Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.
Verbal comprehension with an attention to detail to proper communicate and problem solve.
Groundskeeper
Join the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel team! The Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of The Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel grounds while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance. This is a full-time year-round position with lots of growth opportunities.
Responsibilities & Duties
Maintain and operate all hand and power tools including lawn mowers, edgers, trimmers etc.
Maintain and operate automatic sprinkler system
Maintain and care for vegetation including disease identification, fertilization, trimming, pruning, transplanting, planting and the like.
Maintain fire defensive perimeter
Snow removal
Trim trees, shrubs and other vegetation
Perform preventive maintenance
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment.
A valid Arizona Driver’s License
Previous experience in turf and shrub care or landscape maintenance preferred
Knowledge of lawn care equipment including use and maintenance preferred
HVAC Tech –Train
Join our team at the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel!The Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel is looking for a HVAC Tech who performs testing, troubleshoots problems, and makes repairs to HVAC/R systems and related electrical circuits. This position is in Williams, AZ at our Train Locomotive Shop. A full-time year- round position offering many employee benefits and perks.
Responsibilities:
Thorough knowledge of HVAC/R systems to troubleshoot and repair equipment and related electric circuits.
Monitor HVAC systems and electrical circuitry.
Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards, need for adjustments, relocation or replacements.
Able to hook gauges to HVAC/R equipment.
Perform brazing/soldering repairs to HVAC/R equipment•Install new HVAC/R systems including brazing pipes, and electrical circuits.
Rebuild defective compressors and related components.
Operatea variety of measuring and testing equipment to perform work.
Reads and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.•
Ability to redesign HVAC/R systems when necessary.•
Maintain electronic and pneumatic testing equipment.
Qualifications
Certificate or degree in HVAC/R systems or knowledge of HVAC/R concepts acquired through 3 to 5 years of related experience.
EPA universal certification is required.
Extensive knowledge of alternative freon retrofitting procedures.
Ability to work in inclement weather conditions and confined spaces.
Schematics knowledge. Up to read, understand and draw blueprints. Including piping and wiring diagrams.
Must possess a valid/clear Arizona Driver’s License

Employee Meals & Housing:
The Grand Canyon Railway and Hotel does not offer employee housing. The RV Park has a limited number of employee-reserved spots. Discounted employee rates are offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Fred Harvey Restaurant for employees who are working.
Cost of meals:
Breakfast: $4.00 + tax
Lunch: $5.00 + tax
Dinner: $7.00 + tax
employees are offered the same meal options on the buffet as our guests.
