LIFT OPERATOR
Lift Operations is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of our customers on chair lifts, carpet conveyor and surface lifts. This is an outdoor and physically demanding position. Daily duties include shoveling and manicuring snow on loading and unloading areas. Lift Operations is a team-oriented department focused on providing our guests with excellent customer service.
BASE AREA ATTENDANT
The Base Area Attendants are a key component to enhancing our guests experience at Dodge Ridge. Often, the Base Area Service Attendant is the first person our guests meet upon their arrival to Dodge Ridge. Preparing and maintaining our base facility for our guests are the primary focuses of the Base Area Attendants, this includes; setting up the parking lot, efficiently and safely directing guest to parking locations, daily maintenance of the restroom facilities, trash removal, maintenance and cleaning of the buildings and grounds, and snow removal.
RENTAL ASSOCIATE
This is an entry level position requiring a basic understanding of skiing and snowboarding equipment. The rental shop associate is responsible for assisting all Dodge Ridge guest with their rental equipment. This position requires a willingness to learn about the aspects of skiing and snowboarding equipment and an appreciation for the winter sports. Rental Shop staff is responsible for creating a well organized and efficient equipment rental process for our guests. This position requires constant interaction with guests that may have varying levels of knowledge of the sport and will require different levels of attention.
EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN
The rental shop is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with flexible hours. Rental Shop staff is responsible for creating a well organized and efficient equipment rental process for our guests. Staff duties include adjusting ski and snowboard bindings, boot fitting, inventory control, rental equipment maintenance, shoveling snow, as well as a variety of other tasks or projects. This position requires constant guest interaction. Applicants must possess a positive attitude and work well with others in a sometimes stressful environment.
REPAIR TECHNICIAN
A Repair/Demo Shop Technician performs all technical duties inherent in the repair/demo shop as well as being instrumental as a sale associate. It is very important for this position to establish rapport with guests, provide accurate information, and promote product through successful sales. Technicians need to identify how individual products and services can improve guest’s experience. A candidate for this position is someone looking to grow in both skill and knowledge in this industry.
LINE SERVER
The Food and Beverage Department is a team-oriented department focused on providing our guests with excellent customer service and a pleasurable dining experience. The responsibilities of this position are to prepare menu items, fill guest orders as requested, and maintain an organized and clean workstation. Working, as a team member and focusing on fulfilling our guest’s needs are key roles for the Line Server. The line server may work in the Creekside Lodge, North Fork Bistro or Locals mid mountain restaurant.
GRILL COOK
As a grill cook, your tasks will be related primarily to cooking food on our kitchen’s grill or our outdoor barbeque area. This will include marinating, braising and/or grilling meat, vegetables, and other types of food as needed. To be successful in this role you must possess exceptional grilling abilities.
We also ask our grill cooks to assist the kitchen staff with the ingredient preparation process. This can involve slicing, cutting, and tenderizing meat, vegetables, and other ingredients. You will also be asked to assist us in maintaining our inventory.
The Grill Cook has the responsibility to interact pleasantly and professionally with guests while busily preparing and serving food orders never compromising quality over quantity. Working as a team member and focusing on fulfilling our guest’s needs play a key role for the Grill Cook. Our Food & Beverage department is team-oriented and focused on providing our guests with excellent customer service and a pleasurable dining experience both aesthetically and palate pleasing.
FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANT
The Food & Beverage Department is team-oriented and focused on providing our guests with excellent customer service and a pleasurable dining experience. Food & Beverage Cashier is responsible for accurately calculating food and beverage sales while pleasantly interacting with guests in a time-sensitive manner and assisting with necessary tasks to maintain smooth operation of the dining area. Cashiers may work at the Creekside Lodge, North Fork Bistro, Grab n Go, or Way Station (mid- mountain restaurant).
GUEST SERVICES
Guest Services is a fun and highly interactive work environment. The Guest Services Associate is responsible for informing guests of all available services and efficiently selling the appropriate products. Guest Services Associate duties include detailed knowledge of Ticketing, Ski School, Children’s Center, Rental Shop and other area services as well as Point of Sale operation. Staff is required to handle cash and perform sales transactions in a professional and well organized manner. This position requires constant guest interaction. Applicants must possess a positive attitude and work well with others in a sometimes-stressful environment. Prior Point of Sale/computer and cash handling experience preferred.
GROUP SALES ASSOCIATE
Group Sales Coordinator & Reservation Specialist position requires a sales oriented candidate with the ability to lead sales, drive sales, and match guest needs with the appropriate product and service using sales software. This position coordinates all group sales, acting as a liaison between our groups and resort. This position also supports the front desk staff in their daily operations while maintaining a professional, positive and seamless guest and group experience. It is important for this position to make sure that the existing relationships with our guest and groups customer base is maintained and built upon. The successful candidate works closely with both Guest Services and the Front Desk staff to organize, prioritize and multitask in a fast paced, changing environment.
RACE COACH
Race Department is a team-oriented department focused on providing our race team members with excellent customer service on and off the mountain. This job focuses on training children in the skills, theory, sportsmanship, discipline and enjoyment of competitive skiing. Coaches may also be utilized to perform race clinics for other guests. Coaches may also travel to other ski areas to assist team members at race meetings. Coaches are integral in the organization, setup and execution of race events hosted at Dodge Ridge.
DASH COACH
The goals of this position are to uphold and work towards the goals of the DASH program. The goals of the DASH program are to build athletes that are passionate about the mountains, are positive ambassadors of Dodge Ridge and are developing a life-long love of Snowsports. This will be accomplished through Cooperative Coaching, terrain-based learning, safety (demonstrating Skier + Rider ResponsibilityCode), and fun.
The team will explore a variety of terrain including off-piste and ungroomed conditions. Members will grow and learn by supporting each other, cooperating on team drills, and identifying how to make strategic decisions on the hill to become more successful skiers. Their knowledge and respect for the mountain makes each team member an ambassador of Dodge Ridge, so while they are learning the mountain, the team will learn and demonstrate the Skier + Rider Responsibility Code.
SKI INSTRUCTOR
Snowsports Instructors provide exceptional guest service while working with our guests to advance their technical skills along with their enjoyment of the sport while maintaining a safe learning environment. Instructors need to have the ability to teach various age groups including children, teens and adults. Instructors must also have a willingness and desire to improve their own technical and teaching skills in order to better serve our guests. Instructors must be punctual, flexible, well presented, able to meet the physical requirements of the position and have ski / ride ability suitable to the level of lesson they can teach. Instructors must possess the knowledge and ability to teach both adults and children in the beginner levels. Level I certified Instructors must possess the knowledge and ability to teach beginner to intermediate lessons. Level II certified instructors must possess the knowledge and ability to teach intermediate lessons. Level III certified instructors must possess the knowledge to teach all levels in all snow and terrain conditions.

KIDS CLUB ASSOCIATE
The Children’s Program Supervisor is responsible for the successful daily indoor operations of the Children’s Programs, supporting the highest level of service and best possible lesson experience and progression for our Children’s Program guests. This position works closely with the Snowsports School Director and Manager on appropriate lesson and class assignments of instructors and maintaining daily lesson inventories. Other key duties include staff supervision, scheduling and payroll, providing lesson support, rental process and facility supervision. This position also provides administrative support to the snowsports department. This position requires an organized individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask. The Children’s Program Supervisor will also function as a Snowsports Instructor as business levels dictate. This is a key role within the Snowsports Team.
SNOW REMOVAL
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for Snow Removal in the Parking Areas and Roads at Dodge Ridge in order to provide parking and access to the Ski Area. This position requires an extremely detail oriented, experienced, safety conscious and responsible candidate. This position is a key and important member of the Dodge Ridge Team.
SNOW GROOMING
The Snow Cat Operator is responsible for grooming of the Slopes at Dodge Ridge to provide the best Skiing/snowboarding surface possible for our guests under the direction of the Slope Grooming Manager. This Position is a key and important member of the Dodge Ridge team. This position typically works the night shift (shift is 10:00pm-8:00am) and requires an extremely detail oriented, experienced, safety conscious and responsible candidate.
