Summer Camp Staff
Come work and play in the Rocky Mountains of Estes Park, Colorado, at an international renowned summer camp!
Since 1921, Cheley has been providing summer camp experiences for campers ages 9-17. We are 75 miles northwest of Denver on the 750-acre Land O’Peaks Ranch, surrounded by the snow-capped peaks and forests of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forets. Two additional sites serve the Trail’s End Ranches in Glen Haven, CO.
We are hiring for the following counselor positions: horseback riding, hiking, backpacking, outcamping, sports, mountain biking, crafts, riflery, campfire, unit director, unit assistant director. We are hiring for the following support staff positions: nurse, office assistant/travel coordinator, graphic designer, ceramics coordinator, ropes course staff (high ropes, low ropes, and climbing wall), outcamping coordinator, laundry, nanny, transportation crew, and CDL drivers. Staff members must be at least 18 years old and some positions require that you are at least 21 years old with a valid US driver’s license (hiking and backpacking counselors, directing staff, and transportation crew/CDL).
Staff members must be available to live on site in Estes Park, CO from June 3- August 13, 2023. Some positions are available with an earlier end date of August 6, 2023. We have additional pre and post camp opportunities also. Salary, housing, meals, and a travel stipend are provided.
