Hiring:
Ropes Course Director
Working as our Ropes Course Director, you will be responsible for our Adventure Program, working with campers, aged from 8 to 15, in the following:
Low ropes (team building) games
High ropes facilitation
Rock Climbing
Trip planning and preparation
Management of the ropes course team
Devising the activity sessions
Essential:
An enthusiastic, motivated individual
The knowledge and ability to explain and demonstrate low and high ropes fundamentals and techniques
The ability to communicate, with patience and clarity, with children and co-workers
The ability to manage a small team of 4-5 staff
21+ years of age
Fun, enthusiastic, adventurous personality
A warm and caring nature
Preferred:
Experience of working with children
Experience of managing adults
Experience of facilitating team building initiatives
Ropes/Rock climbing certification/experience
Other details:
On evenings and weekends you will assist with Camp’s evening activities and special events
Accommodations will be in cabins
5 days off and most of your nights will be free (3 hours approx)
Dates of employment are June 12th to August 15th (9 weeks)
2 weeks of staff training and 7 weeks working with children
Room, board, laundry and internet access is included
Salary is $3,975
*FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED (Specific to our high ropes course, low ropes elements and rock climbing wall, and including belaying, safety procedures, rescues and facilitating)*
Ropes Course Assistant
Working as our Ropes Course Assistant, you will be a part of our Adventure Program team, working with campers, aged from 8 to 15, in the following areas:
Low ropes (team building) games
High ropes facilitation
Rock Climbing

Archery Instructor
You will create and deliver safe, fun and engaging archery lessons to various groups of campers aged 8-15 over the course of the summer. Additionally you will undertake the role of friend, mentor, coach and role model to create an unforgettable summer!
Essential:
Experience working with children
Experience participating in archery
Experience teaching others to shoot an arrow
Knowledge of the safety procedures of the sport of archery
Fun, enthusiastic, adventurous personality

Waterfront Director
Working as one of Camp’s 2 Waterfront Directors, you will coordinate the delivery and supervision of all water activities and special events at the waterfront. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Waterfront Safety & Maintenance
Supervise and guard all waterfront activities, ensuring campers and staff follow safety procedures while in their program activity.
Utilize rescues, first aid, CPR and other emergency management services if required
Understand and implement appropriate response to changes in water conditions or weather conditions affecting the waterfront
Maintain the physical facilities and equipment in the waterfront program area
Swim Instruction
Train and assist waterfront instructional staff in program areas such as swimming and water recreation
Evaluate aquatics abilities of campers and staff
Create and implement swim instruction lesson plans
Staff Supervision
Supervise up to 5 Waterfront Assistants, providing coaching, feedback and performance reviews
Other
Participate enthusiastically in all camp activities, including evening and weekend activities.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Dates of employment are June 9th to August 15th (9 weeks in total: 2 weeks of staff training and 7 weeks working with children)
Room, board, laundry and internet access all included.
1 day off per week and nights off
Staff sports, games, facilities and movie nights are all available in your free evenings
Salary: $3825 + $150 Travel
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
An enthusiastic, motivated individual.
The knowledge and ability to explain and demonstrate swimming fundamentals and techniques through drills and games.
The ability to communicate, with patience and clarity, with children and co-workers.
21+ years of age.
Desirable:
Experience in managing staff
Experience in running a swim program
Experience in working on open water
Experience in working at a children's summer camp or similar environment
Waterfront Assistant
Working as one of Camp's lifeguard and Swim Instructors, you will provide swim instruction and lifeguarding to campers, aged from 7 to 15 (from Monday to Friday). On evenings and weekends you will assist with Camp's evening activities and special events. The upkeep and maintenance of the lakefront beach area and docks is also part of the job.
