Through a rigorous full staff Orientation week we will prepare you fully for the summer experience to come. Area specific training and program preparation will blend with a Counselor Workshop program all the while playing sports and getting to know our diverse staff from all over the USA and the world. Requirements:

• Coach our boys in a range of wake sports including Wake Boarding, Waterskiing; Bare-foot and Slalom, Wake surfing, knee boarding and tubing

• Undertake professional two day, third-party boat driving course provided by us

• Red Cross Lifeguard certification provided by us

• Be part of a dynamic and professional waterfront offering autonomy and variety

• You will bunk with our boys in a Counselor role outside of your instructor role

• Red Cross Lifeguard certification provided by us

• Undertake professional two day, Archery Instructor course (for versatility)

• You will bunk with our boys in a Counselor role outside of your coaching or teaching role

Additional Information About Camp Cobbossee

What do we do at Camp Cobbossee?

Community, Brotherhood, Sportsmanship. These are the core values of Camp Cobbossee, Since 1902, but now in a COVID era, more so than ever. We are first and foremost a competitive sports camp. We strive to provide high end skill instruction and a desire to win in our boys. This is directly in tandem with our most important cultural value at Cobbossee; Sportsmanship. At Cobbossee, we teach our boys that sportsmanship transcends sports. It is far more about the way that we win than the sport which we are playing. Whether it’s Waterfront, Adventure or Sporting activities, at Cobbossee we push our boys outside of their comfort zones and watch them grow. That is where you come in.

Being a counselor / undertaking a paid Internship at Cobbossee.

Through a rigorous full staff Orientation week we will prepare you fully for the summer experience to come with training in Best Practices, Procedure and COVID safety measures. Area specific training and program preparation will blend with a Counselor Workshop program all the while playing sports and getting to know our diverse staff from all over the USA and the world in a COVID safe bubble in Maine. We can also taper your employment specifically as an internship for those requiring professional framework for their summer employment. Alongside the benefit of paid travel to work in Maine, this summer will challenge you, you will grow as a leader and a coach, you will be role models in our boys lives this summer whilst making best friends with your co-staff and learning practical skills from our seasoned leadership.
