Hiring:

Our waterfront covers 2,000 feet of sandy beach on beautiful Lake Androscoggin. Our activities include sail, swim, waterski, canoe/kayak, SUP, beach volleyball and fishing. Lifeguard certification is offered during orientation.

Our land sports program includes lacrosse, baseball (with both a Little League and high school sized field,) soccer (two fields,) tennis (8 hard courts and 4 clay courts,) basketball (with 2 outside and one indoor court), flag football, golf, and street hockey.

Our arts program includes arts and crafts, pottery, woodworking, animation, video, radio, drama and music.

Our outdoor adventure program includes high and low ropes, a climbing wall, camp craft and mountain biking.

Additional Information About Camp Androscoggin

Androscoggin is the summer home for 250 boys between 8 and 16 and 75 staff. For over a century, campers and counselors have been playing sports, participating in a host of individual activities, forming life-long friendships and sharing summers to remember on our 120 acre lakeside campus.  Over the course of the year, we have been learning and planning for a safe, rewarding and fun 2021, and with new protocols and safeguards in place, we are looking forward to a truly memorable season.  

In addition to being an activity specialist, each counselor has responsibility for a bunk with 5 or 6 boys. Our male staff live in the cabin with the boys, and our female staff are assigned to help supervise a bunk. The bunk is a camper’s home away from home for his 7 weeks at Androscoggin, and the rapport a camper develops with his bunk counselors is one of the key ingredients in the success of everyone’s summer. The role is a combination of teacher, confidant, disciplinarian, and friend, and we are seeking individuals who are patient, caring and enthusiastic.
